The lore

Nobody connected the dots. Everybody saw them.

It began, like most XRPL lore, with a riddle nobody claimed. Three stockings, three colours, no explanation. Someone brightened the image. Someone zoomed into a corner nobody else had checked. By morning the replies were longer than the riddle, and nobody agreed on anything except the colours.

Green kept turning up wherever the ledger was mentioned. Yellow kept turning up next to a name the timeline would not stop whispering. Purple was already sitting on rails that move money every day. Coincidence is the polite word for it.

XYZ is not handing out the answer. The file stays open until someone works it out. Three marks are hidden on this page, the vault is waiting, and the theory board belongs to anyone who thinks they have worked it out.

How to buy

Four steps on the XRP Ledger.

    Use a wallet such as Xaman or Joey Wallet, or any XRP Ledger wallet that supports trustlines. Keep your secret offline and never share it with anyone, including this site.

    Send XRP to your wallet from the exchange you use. Every XRP Ledger account keeps a small reserve, so add a little extra to cover the account and the XYZ trustline.

  3. Step 3: Set the XYZ trustline

    Add a trustline for the currency code XYZ with the official issuer address on this page. The issuer is what makes it the real XYZ, not the name.

  4. Step 4: Swap XRP for XYZ

Yes. Three marks are hidden on the page, one for each letter. Every mark you find unlocks a line of the riddle in the vault. Crack it to join the people who have already seen it, and keep an eye on X, because new chapters open over time.

What is XYZ?

XYZ is a community token on the XRP Ledger built around an open question: what do X, Y and Z stand for, and why do green, yellow and purple keep showing up together? The clues are out there, and the community is piecing them together on X, in the vault and on the theory board.

What is the initial supply?

The initial supply is 1,000,000,000 XYZ. The dev allocation is 5% of it, 50,000,000 XYZ. The other 95%, 950,000,000 XYZ, is community supply.

How does the dev allocation unlock?

It starts fully locked. 25% of it, 12,500,000 XYZ, is released every 3 months, so it is fully unlocked 12 months after launch. Each release adds 1.25% of the initial supply.

Which network is XYZ on?

The XRP Ledger. You hold XYZ in any XRPL wallet that supports trustlines and trade it against XRP on the ledger's built-in exchange.

How do I make sure I have the real XYZ?

Anyone can issue a token called XYZ on the XRP Ledger, so the name proves nothing. Only the issuer address published on this page and on the official X account is real. Check it every time you set a trustline or swap.

Is XYZ connected to any company people link to the letters?

No. XYZ is an independent community token. Whatever the community decides the letters and colours point to, it is speculation, and no company, project or person has endorsed, sponsored or partnered with XYZ.

Is XYZ an investment?

No. XYZ is a community meme token with no promise of value or returns. Crypto prices can drop to zero, so only use money you can afford to lose.
